NEWS

10/09/13 - SEPTEMBER RACE RESULTS

For out September Racemeet it was a fantastic spring day and we had strong numbers for Nitro and Electric Buggys. SC Truck and Truggy numbers we down unfortunately, we hope to see more entries for our next club day.

For the Nitro Buggy A Final, which was 20 minutes, we saw Mat Griffin(TQ) win comfortably over second place Paul Goodie and third place Karl Piepkorn. Our president Dave Trevethan took out the B Final with Norm Guthrie taking first place in Truggy.

The most exciting final of the day was the 1/8 Electric Buggy which saw a fantastic battle between young gun Brandon Seymour and Barmah's Shane Bostock. They were Neck and neck for most of the race with the lead changing several times. A bad mistake by Brandon with a couple of minutes to go saw Shane take the lead but Brandon was good enough to overtake him and win by just 1.2 Seconds.

SCT was dominated by Paul Garner, Michael Knight was running strongly in second but due to technical problems dropped back the third position with Tom Strang picking up second.

Full Finals Results can be found HERE.

03/07/13 - RACE RESULTS

Our extra June Racement was a success with Pro Buggy being the biggest class of the day with 18 entrants, the winner(as usual) was Mat Griffin winning by a margin of 3 laps, coming second and third were Barmah RC Sponsored drivers Paul Goodie and John Bateman. The B Final for the Nitro Buggies was a Much Closer affair with Adam Grant holding out Steve Bee by 15 Seconds and D McDonough 14 Seconds behind Steve.

Truggies had a full field of 10 drivers with Mick Campion way out in front, Mechanical problems at the end of the race caused Mick to limp the truggy home at a crawl the last two laps, Luckily he was way out in front and still managed to win by over a lap to Locals Shane Bostock(Barmah RC Hobbies) and our SRCCC President Dave Trevethan.

The electrics finished up the day, first Short Course which was another Barmah RC Sponsored driver Paul Garner, winning Comfortably over John Harvey and newcomer Michael Knight. In the 1/8 Electric Buggies, Wondonga's Matt Robinson was able to hold out young gun local boys Brandon Seymour and Jack Egan on thier home track to win by 12 Seconds.
